Fifty-five letters, mostly written for Douglass, serving with Company K, 79th Indiana Volunteers, by another soldier, Isaac Pearcy, chiefly to his mother, Margaret Douglass, describing Civil War battles at Stone River (Murfreesboro), Tenn., Chickamauga, Ga., and the siege of Atlanta, together with typewritten transcripts of fourteen letters, broadside poem, newspaper, and printed history (1894) of Company K. Some letters include notes from Pearcy to Margaret Douglass.
